Fusing hip-hop with hard rock, theatrical aggression with over-the-top humor, Primer 55's Introduction to Mayhem can recall acts as diverse as Korn, Helmet, Everlast, or Insane Clown Posse. The rap side of the equation doesn't always have the ring of authenticity — it often seems more like a pose designed for effect than the product of a lived-in culture — but whether that's a concern for you or not, their music is undeniably hard-hitting, great for fans of alternative metal and rap-metal. [Introduction to Mayhem was also released in a "clean" edition, containing no profanities or vulgarities.]

Clean Version

The songs on this clean version are actually substantially different from the regular album its kind of funny haha. Get the normal version I suggest.

Primer 55 is not your average group of rock stars. The band was formed in 1997 after years of suffering through the stale music scene in Memphis, TN, dominated by death metal and cover bands. Rather than sit back and complain, the group decided to do something about it. Guitarist Bobby Burns, led by his heavy metal past, co-founded the band with vocalist J-Sin, who added a more hip-hop flavor to the mix. The two enlisted the help of friends Mike "Jr." Christopher on bass and Josh McLane on drums....
