I love Irene

     

I absolutely love this song. It is written about a woman who has literally touched the lives of thousands of people. The song rings true to her humble beginning and spirit sharing her gift with others. Irene Gauthier, founded Irene's Myomassology institute in Southfield Michigan in 1993. The school is known for excellence in education and that can certainly be attributed to Irene herself. At 90 years old Irene is still practicing myomassology. She is truly a fountain of knowledge and a walking inspiration. I graduated from her school in 2005, it was a life changing experience! Going to Irene's school helped me to truly find my place in the world. I am glad to know Irene and be one of her little worker bees out in the world sharing the gift of hands on healing with others. Thank you Steve for immortalizing this gifted woman through your song.
