This is not Linkin Park of old
I guess my wishes of the old Linkin Park coming back are officially laid to rest. The soft vocals and the "Angels and Airwaves-esque" guitar riffs are a complete disappointment for me. The song New Divide from the previous Transformers movie was head and shoulders where this song is. While different than the stuff on Hybrid Theory and Meteora, it was still catchy and almost caused you to do some head banging.
I don't understand how you can put a song like this that is soft and inspirational into a movie that could quite possibly bring about the end of the world...
All in all, I will NEVER own another Linkin Park album again.

Im not sure why everyone is always bashing bands for changing.. Anyone who really loves music or a band grows with them and I would expect nothing less from Linkin Park.. Yes it is a far cry from Hybrid Theroy but its NOT supposed to be the same.. They have grown up and are changing there style a little bit like every good band does.. Its not called selling out its called progression.. I hate when a band wont let go of a sound cause they had a hit single so every song after sounds the same.. I want new different music all the time and as of recent years Linkin Park has delievered every time.. Thank you Linkin Park for progressing and changing your sound as well as doing something different to show just how musicly talented you guys are.. I love this song BECAUSE it sounds how it does.. And before you go posting something negative why dont you think how much you have changed over the past 10 years, and if you haven't well Im sorry to hear that.. Cause they say that I changed; I say that you didn't..

First off, im not the type to hate on a band just because they changed their sound... I commend bands for doing that because i cant stand when a band releases the same album over and over. I just cant stand heir new sound... more power o them if they enjoy making it and it looks like some people like but I would rather listen to country than this... well, maybe its not that bad but its close.
