Not Bad!
Most of the songs on this album are pretty good! But, some of them are crazy, and just stupid, Worth your money? ya, its a nice change from main stream!
SKA!
This is a great little ablum coming straight from the little Island under the sun. If you enjoy ska, and understand what life was like in Jamaica in those days you will surely dig this music. "Independent Jamaica" is a nice tune that perfectly captures the feelings of freedom, and optimisim that occured when Jamaica was given it's independence from their colonial slave-masters, England. And of course there is Bob Marley's famous very first recorded song "Judge Not". This album is pratically a time capsuel that captures the roots of the Jamaican music scene, which almost all the artists featured here were instrumental in creating. This is a very good album.
