BRILLIANT!.....and I'm a professional musician, so I'm better than you!
Take a deep breath, buckle-up for safety and let it all go away..... you are about to be blow away by this cinema verite/20th century 12 tone classical/film noir sountrack/early 60's go-go/german dominatrix/who is my mother? collage of everthing you love/hate/need/who cares(?) of sound that is a veritable inviting catnip for the ears. After a full listening of this....this....stuff, you may hate your father, want to light candles, chew off your nails or just have a hard-felt laugh at this musical brilliance. Everything is here....a german dominatrix who is displeased, film music ala The French Connection, 20th century classical "ouch" music and sexy siren torch song medium....it hits you like an unforgiving beautiful thing....that smells a little funny. All in all, a sonic journey of beautiful love, plus a Jungian nightmare. Be warned...and enjoy! :-)
Playful Twist on Popular Songs
Best song is "Takin' Care of Business" which is incredibly funny and well arranged. Most the songs by Elvis S. here add a musical comedy edge (a little dark as well) to the music which makes it fresh and fun to listen to.
