Grabs your attention from track #1 and doesn't let go.
OH MY GOD...A music connoisseur's dream. Jennifer is definitely up there with the most respected female artists out there, and this album is a mega joyride. It bumps in a carefree, "let-go" kind of way AND soars in a very serious one. A VERY serious one. I love her authenticity, the rawness, all with the "pretty" little pop element in place too, which can't exactly hurt this artist at all. Comparable with Alicia Keys and the bigger vocalists and radio songs that knock you off your chair. This record grabs your attention at track #1 and doesn't let go. Well done. Indie? Whatever.
One listen and I was hooked
I have never fallen in love with an album as fast as I did this one. She's the kind of artist that the first second you hear her you are like, "Who is THAT?!?" One minute I'm rockin' out and the next minute I'm totally lost in one of the ballads. It is truly an enjoyable record and Jennifer has a fabulous voice that is perfect for every song. I would recommend this album to anyone.
Now this is REAL talent
Word is that she wrote all these songs. (I'm not for sure though) I was familiar with the "Is It God or Devil song" and checked back to see but I did NOT know she could write like this, or SING like this. whoa... props all around. Great album.
