Really creative and unique sound
So good to hear a band not doing the same thing as everyone else. Taking heavy Latin foundations and then adding all sorts of influences. This is a really fun band to hear and get to know.
Live from SoHo
Ozomatli's music is best to listen to live (although the studio versions are also very good). I have been to 10 shows and they rock the house everytime. Every show is differernt. I listened to this CD and it rocks!
Ozomatli Rocks!!
Ozomatli is one of the best bands to hear live. They opened for Ying Yang twins at a concert I recently attended and were absolutely better! I strongly recommend seeing them.

Brewing a vital concoction of Latin salsa, urban hip-hop, and jazz-funk, Ozomatli formed in Los Angeles in the mid-'90s, eventually settling on a lineup that included Raúl "El Bully" Pacheco, Ulises Bella, Jiro Yamaguchi, Cut Chemist, Chali 2na, Wil-Dog Abers, Mairo Calire, Rene "Spinobi" Dominguez, Justin "Niño" Porée, Asdrubal Sierra, and Jabu. After making their name on the local club circuit, the group made an appearance on the urban late-night talk show Vibe! and released its self-titled debut...
