Ok, so I am one to admit that over the years of their continual onslaught of power charting singles, the “Peas” never yet enticed me enough to buy one full album. But since their conception, this Hip-Hop, Latin, Rap, Electronic, Funk infusion full piece band, have done nothing but literally dominate the charts. From Hip-Hop to RnB and Funk, their sound, drums and vocals, can be found in many, many remixes from rock to underground dance culture mixes. This download is in fact, more of a compilation of the most innovative and chart topping singles from all the years past, and a personal commentary on the complete history of the band so far. Twenty three tracks in total, for $9.99, this has got to be the definitive Black Eyed Peas Greatest Hits (so far) CD/ iTunes download. From the twenty-three tracks, twelve of the backbone tracks off the download are a time lined musical journey. The rest are a story lined commentary interwoven between the songs, given by the band themselves. The musical titles offer such monster singles like: -Don’t Lie -Fallen Up -Weekends -Shut Up -Where is the Love -Let’s Get’ It Started’ (‘Retarded’) To, ‘Pump It’. I would offer some samples of the dialog that are placed between the musical tracks, but as always, this excitement can only be experienced in this iTunes Music Store Exclusive download. Packed full of sweet, sweet goodness and a great insight into the band themselves. This exclusive purchase will surely prompt me to download the full catalogue, to search for those B-Side greats. Always packing arenas and eccentric small venues, listening to this, will no doubt prepare me to see such an explosive stage show this band will most certainly orchestrate.
