Still RED HOT

I admit. I'm a Red Hot Chili Pepper fanatic. I love seeing their Live shows. It's an experience onto itself. With regard to this special ITunes Originals album, it goes near the top of MUST OWN (aside from the Blood Sugar Sex Magik & Californication albums as well as the Live from Slane Castle DVD-if you have never seen the Peppers perform live, this DVD closely captures that magic.) This ITunes album is unique in that they provide past Peppers Videos as well as LIVE studio performances with a small sample of their hits. What's unique about the Chili Peppers is that they can take one of their hits, improvise and make a slight variation to it so that it sounds like a NEW song. "Under the Bridge" takes a dramatic tone and listening to this ITunes version almost brougt tears to my eyes (I think the guitar John used provided the unique sound in this performance.) Also, their new songs from the Stadium album are brought to life in this exclusive session as well (i.e. Charlie, Tell Me Baby, Dani California.) They even provide short commentary as to the artistic process of coming up with lyrics and the accompanying music. They make it seem so easy, but I can imagine it's a nerve-wracking process. As much as I've bought other Chili Peppers CDs and DVDs in the past, no one can re-invent their own songs into NEW versions and make them sound so great. I HIGHLY Recommend this album. Enjoy the ride !!!!

Absolutely amazing. If you like the Chili Peppers these videos are a must-have. This really shows that not only do these guys make some of the best music on the planet, they have the talent to jam live and sound PERFECT!

Not only great songs but they are different. Can't Stop has a awesome jam session in the begining that gives me goose-bumps. Worth every penny!
