So Good Live

well ... i can understand the confusion to these tunes sounding like the album versions ... its just that Skillet is so good live in concert, its hard to tell the difference. i respect and like them for their creativity and innovation in the studio and how they can bring the same energy and sound to the stage. I've seen them many times live, and its the real deal ... they play, sing and pull off things live in concert that are very difficult ... so if you like them on record, you get the same sounds but with the live raw energy too.

Another great release from Skillet

Here is my song by song review:

Awake and Alive 4.5/5 - This song is probably the most similar to the album version, but it is still really good. Cool "wah" effect on John's vocals on the bridge.
Sometimes 5/5 - Awesome new intro, guitar work is great. John is singing the low harmony and it sounds awesome.
Rebirthing 5/5 - Simply amazing. Great vocals and an awesome new outro with some epic guitar thrown in.
Monster 5/5 - Really good. It's in Drop B instead of Drop C (Which is what it is played in on the album). Growl sounds cooler on this than the studio version
The Last Night 5/5 - Korey sounds great on this track. New guitar solo is nice, and I love the outro from Comatose Comes Alive
Hero 5/5 - Awesome. Jen and John sound great together. Some awesome duel guitar parts, and John has an epic scream at the end.
Comatose 5/5 - Intro from CCA. Vocals sound great as always.
Believe 5/5 - I love it. It's totally acoustic and John sounds great.

Total Score = 5/5 stars

This is a must buy for any Skillet fan.

Skillet = beat rockband

Skillet never disapoints. When I saw you could preorder it I was set: D I'm going in less then a month to their concert and it's gonna be awesome(: buy this if your a skillet fan like me!
