iTunes Review
Kittie are, like the rest of the world, growing up. What began as teenaged girls playing hard, uncompromising rock has become young women mastering the subtleties of modern rock. There’s still plenty of grunting and grinding. But there’s also a grand passion for melody and rhythmic quirks. “Empires Pt. 2” features both a harsh rasp and a delicate lead vocal that meet up with Mercedes Lander’s expert grooves. She isn’t afraid to trip up the rhythm to maximize surprise and power. The title track pounds and lashes out at everything in its path, while the album’s first single “We Are the Lamb” kicks up a Judas Priest-like chug. “Whisper of Death” harkens back to the ‘70s and ‘80s for a classic metal sound. “Come Undone” features stellar harmonies amongst the rubble. “Already Dead” adds a dark funk. “Time Never Heals” is the closest the group has come to a power ballad. It’s a truly diverse collection.

I've Failed You does anything but fail
I've Failed You is without a doubt one of the best albums released yet by Kittie!!! lots of heavy songs <3 though the softer songs are amazing as well, its just an all around amazing album... my face is melted its so metal!!!!!! oh yes
Perfection
First of all to "dethbelow" practice? What have you ever done that anyone would know? These ladies have been doing it harder and better than most of the cookie cutter chumps out there for many years...held their own on tour with the biggest metal bands out there for their entire career...what have you done? SECOND...This album is perfect...if you're a fan of metal this album is perfect PERIOD...regardless of gender they blow away 90% of the crappy dime-a-dozen so called "metal" bands out there...if you don't like this album just keep your balls tucked in and keep quiet...The ladies in KITTIE are obviously too intimidating for a noodle such as yourself...
Rock On
It's not the most epic of all albums but it's good. I don't follow them at all but did buy their first album when I was 16, I just like metal. Weather you think this is or not I believe it does the job.
Support your artist and stop with all the negative hate on newer metal albums that have been coming out now a days. Look a lil Wayne with 4 1/2 stars 17000 reviews and that's the worst music out. And you have the nerve to rate this 1 or 2 stars. Give newer sounds a chance.
