Album Review

In the early '90s, country music was getting a well-deserved shot in the arm by an influx of new and exciting talent. One of these struggling new artists went by the name of Jack Ingram and his self-titled release here is something of a find. Recorded for a tiny independent label, Jack Ingram shows the first glimpse of the talent which was lurking in the shadows. These 12 cuts range from rather stunning originals to tasty covers. "Beat Up Ford," which Ingram would name his backing group, is fine indeed; and his covers of Willie Nelson's "Pick Up the Tempo" and Robert Earl Keen's "Road Goes on Forever" are stunning examples of simplicity using, only voice, guitar, and mandolin for a wonderful effect. Elsewhere, the backings are kept on the money and enhance each tune nicely. Jack Ingram is a fine country/folk testament by an emerging artist.

Music is a little too slow for me.
Coaching is ok, but sometime he forget to lower the music down before he talk.
Program: I find this is quite a challenge for me. I can not run as fast on the last mile. Anyway, it improve my speed overall.
