Looking for some sexy, fresh, original beats to round out your summer? Look no further than Jack Parow. Although he usually raps in Afrikaans, his music achieves a level of accessibility unmatched by many of his South African contemporaries. After hearing the Cooler As Ekke EP I had high hopes for this full release and on almost all fronts he delivers (although I'm surprised at the exclusion of Brackenfell Boys Choir which was one of my favorite Cooler As Ekke tracks). Must haves include Cooler As Ekke, Dans Dans Dans, and the updated Ek Wens Jy Was Myne. He's on the verge of blowing up stateside so get hip to this before your 12 y/o sister starts bumping it.
