Can someone explain to me why??
im sorry but adding in an american pop star to such a beautiful Indian song takes away from the meaning of the song. i feel like as americans we need to respect other cultures and leave the song as it is. and NOT americanize it. Nicole scherizinger has a beautiful voice dont get me wrong but i think it was a mistake to do this. now on the radio all they are going to play is this version because it has HER name on it when really its the shear brilliance of A.R Rahman that makes the ORIGINAL version as great as it is. does anyone feel the same as i do??
Great for radio and the clubs BUT....
This is great, don't get me wrong but the original is still the original and it is better. Sadly though, this version had to be released in order for the radio, clubs and the frankly masses to accept and appreciate it. Download both version and appreciate the deep meaning of both. Much respect and thanks to A.R. Rahman and his team for a great song. Oh yeah, if you didn't already knew......Slumdog Millionaire is a masterpiece and needs to be seen by all.
Buy the original!
Why do we have to dumb things down when they start out so wonderful? The original is much more colorful and interesting, and A.R. Rahman and his band deserve full credit and revenue!
