Why you gotta hate?

Je t'aime is lackluster to say the least, an average dance track at best. Probably not AVH's finest hour, one you could pass on and not lose sleep over. Nuff said. However, aside from that, I find it amusing to see the despair posts people write up. Stop pigeonholing artists to say they can only express their message one certain way. If you've looked at AVH's work for the past 15 years you'll discover a tapestry of multiple genres used in their electronic line up. Currently their Ghettoblaster album is focusing on the mid-late 80's dance scene. It's light, fluffy and fun with a hint of freestyle mixed in. However, some hip-hop is mixed in there too. AVH took a gamble on Fat Joe and came up big. In short, don't hate if you've decided what your favorite artist should be. Let them take on their own projects and experiment with multiple genres. If you don't like the current tracks wait for the next album. I think more artists should think outside the box like AVH instead of submitting to the "almighty record label" for the "quick buck" and "playing it safe" with the same format. Instead they push boundaries and seek new aural limits.

are you kidding me?

Respect the classics!

Armand, Chicago house music lovers appreciate the reference, but seriously, let the classics be the classics, man.
