amazing.
This cd, is completely amazing. If you're looking for someone who's very up and coming, check hailey out. She's got some amazing songs. If you're thinking of quitting a job, "F*** you I quit" is your anthem. My favorite song is probably "Bad Modern Art". Give her a listen, you won't regret it i swear!
Amazing Singer, Clever if Cryptic Songwriter
Hailey is an excellent singer-songwriter but definitely isn't for everyone. Her songs don't seem perfectly clear but every song has an emotional core that can be easily identified. Bad Modern Art seems odd, but its just about how things that were beautiful in a relationship seem absurd and pointless after a breakup. Nabokov's Butterfly is about how hard it is to try and get affection from someone who is hopelessly obsessed with dead geniuses. Her singing and interesting instrument choices (Xylkophone in Nabakov's Butterfly and bells in Bad Modern Art) add a nice sound to the songs that make them enjoyable to simply listen to. If you're looking for an artist with a nice voice and some off beat lyrics and instruments check Hailey out, you won't regret it.
Deffinently Worth Buying
This album is deffinently worth buying, her mother is my science teacher so I have heard Hailey live and she is really talented.
