100% Unapologetic Pure Hip-Hop

I am tired of people saying Jean is one of the dopest female emcees. She may be the dopest emcee, period. She is definitely deserving of being mentioned in the same breath as jay, nas, common, mos, talib, black thought, and anyone else people consider the "best rapper alive". If you are a fan of hip hop, or simply music, made from the heart this album is for you.

My word..

I am trying to hate on this album , because generally I can't stomach female mcs for whatever reason, but this album won't let me do it. I've probably bought more than 100 hip hop albums in 2008 and right now I can't think of a stronger , more complete album. She has officially pole-vaulted her way , way up the ladder of my favorite MC's list. Queen of the Hip Hop Quotables. How is it I can so closely relate to some songs, rapped by a female MC? With that said,I haven't really been on-board , either, with Blue Sky Black Death based on my opinions of earlier music, but this production is so innovative, and original. I've got my head bobbin on every song with it's enjoyable clap and rhythm , I'm loving it. Although Im not crowning this the Album of the year, but in 2 months in now, it's going to get some serious consideration. Buy this album, set a side an hour, plug in some good headphones and let it play.

DOPENESS!

don't sleep... this is that real hip-hop!
