Power of the Cross is AMAZING>>>>> A New Must Have CD In Every Music Library
Ricardo Sanchez at Free Chapel is a sight to see. If you experience this first hand and then close you eyes while listening to this disc you will not feel any difference. Sonically this record sounds like it was done in the studio not live. Ricardo is an artist poised to bring others to the Lord though his incredible vocals. It is obvious that this artist does this for the love of the Lord and his commitment to help other hear the word. The bonus video track of Power of the Cross is so incredible with artist Israel Houghton accompanying them. You feel Ricardo's passion and you feel like you are at Free Chapel with your hands raised high. The song list here is very upbeat. The band and the back up singers are flawless in its execution and just plain rocks.... steve j.

An incredible work unto an Awesome God
Where to begin?! I'll start with the fact that some might think that I'm slightly biased in that I'm a member at Free Chapel, and am in the choir was blessed enough to be a part of both "Moving Forward", and this project "Power of the Cross". But having said that, as a true believer in Jesus Christ, and as a person that loves both music general, and giving praise unto God, this album has it all, and then some! The lyrics along will bring tears to you eyes, as you feel God reach down to touch you where you are at ... And the gifting that God has given Pastor Ricardo and Israel Houghton shows through in the melodies that these lyrics are entwined with ... I could not imagine a better arrangement for any of these pieces. Then to blend in that incredible medley lead by Ricard and Israel, not to mention that when Pastor Franklin joined us and created a whole new atomsphere for an even greating out pouring of God's presence. In the past I would have said "that you had to be there" ... But I don't have to! Because there is even a video on iTunes, so you can see for yourself how 'God rolls' at Free Chapel! When we get to lead worship with these songs, we know we are opening up hearts and giving God room to move into our midst, and something spectacular is about to happen. I look forward to gifting this album to several friends and acquintances. It has enough musical styles to appeal to most. But once you step out of whatever box you've place yourself and God into, you an experience a whole new way to worship Him, and be blessed by His presence.
