Album Review

This was Jerry Lee's second album released on the Sun label and, with the exception of "Great Balls of Fire," it's all late-period Killer sides from his tenure at the label. While tracks like "Let's Talk About Us," "What'd I Say," and "As Long as I Live" have their own charm, this set simply isn't the place to start a Jerry Lee collection; stick with the Rhino single-disc best-of to fill that need. For original album freaks and completists only.

A monumental rock and roll album! This was Jerry Lee's 2nd LP ever released! (1961 on Sun Records) Some of the other reviewers complained about how it didn't have some of Jerry's later material on it, well, DUH! It's much OLDER! Gosh, I hate stupid people :)
Rock on, Jerry Lee!

Is there an early rock & roller who has a crazier reputation than the Killer, Jerry Lee Lewis? His exploits as a piano-thumping egocentric wild man with an unquenchable thirst for living have become the fodder for numerous biographies, film documentaries, and a full-length Hollywood movie. Certainly...
