Huh?
Songs are good but where's the one from the trailer?
Ok, I didn't buy the album...
I only bought Aimee Mann's track, Wise Up, after hearing it on NBCs Community, so this review is solely a reflection of that song. And the song is awesome! I love the way the piano and her vocals blend together and produce such a beautiful, moody, feeling-inducing melody.
NOT THE VERSION FROM THE MOVIE!
We just saw the movie and this version of "Wise Up" is NOT IT!
Don't be fooled and buy this tune before previewing it. Maybe it's a nice version but I don't know because we were all set to hear the one from the movie. You know, with the great finger picking guitar backup? So as always: let the buyer beware!
