Ali is Back

This album is certainly not into the pop genre as the Huqa Paani and Masti, new fans and old fans will find something new to like.

1) The album begins title song of the album, Jhoom. Jhoom is a slow song with rich tabla and fantastic vocals and is one of the best songs song on the album. It really gets the listener with the hook "Dil Jhoom Jhoom Dil Jhoom Jhoom" . The R&B version is mediocre, because it has english rap in the middle. 5/5

2) Tu Jaanay is more of a pop sounding, playful song and reminds me of Chal Dil Mere. This backing vocals on this song, make it sound cheesy. 3.5/5

3) Jab Say Dekha - Paired with adorable lyrics and good vocals. The "sara jahan" near the middle of the song really is the catchy part of the song. 4/5

4) Jee Dhoondta Hai- This song sounds like a mystical chant. It is really nice slow song, despite the whispering in the beginning. 4/5

5) Koi Umeed - This song beats Jee Dhoondta Hai by miles. It has everything. Meaningful lyrics about hope, vocal depth, and beautiful lyrics. 4.5/5

6) Jaan-E-Maan - With beautiful piano and mellow sounds like running water, this song is really the most classical pieces on this album . 4.5/5

7) Nahin Ray Nahin - This song is one of the more fast paced songs, to break the mold of all the slow songs in the middle. Its good. 4/5

8) Yaar Dhadi Ishq - It is at this point of the album where most harmonous songs are. Although Yaar Daadi takes a long time to go anywhere, it breaks into great piece towards the middle. 5/5

9) Dastan-E-Ishq - This is the best song after "Jhoom" on this album. The Dhol Version is better than the orginal version. This song is slow and soothing. 5/5

10) Allah Hu - Ali really shows off his vocal talent with this devotional song. This piece is very pure sounding and excludes most of the instrumental. 4.5/5

Simply an amazing album

I love the way Ali Zafar has changed his music and singing style a little bit from his last album and the poetry of the songs is very well written, every word just sinks into your ears and stay in your heart forever. Great job at singing in the most perfect manner a singer could deliver such well written words in a rythm. MUST BUY!

Enchanting!

With great vocals, a different spin on his music as compared to his previous albums...Ali Zafar does what he does best...takes us to another world! My long wait is officially over.
