I Caught It!
In an industry that uses the guise of 'worship' as a personal platform, Jimmy Fisher and Contagious Praise get back to the true purpose of worship music which is to glorify God and lift up his name corporately. My church can't get enough of the funk-laced "For the Lord is Good". Everyone will heed the call to worship that is "Come On Everybody". Even time tested classics like "Bless That Wonderful Name" and Twila Paris' contemporary standard "He Is Exalted" get a modern shot of adrenaline. If skillful musicianship is your 'thang' then you'd be hard pressed to find better than those on this album. The original offerings of this project come from a heart that's had encounters with God. Bottomline: Get It!
Pure Praise
Jimmy and Contagious Praise have an undeniable gift for ushering the listener from their own personal situation into a position of humbleness and worship that's focussed completely on God. It is a great collection of praise songs that make you want to dance like David ("Great is Thy Faithfulness ", "Come on Everybody", "I'm Not Ashamed") while also bringing intimate and realistic lyrics for todays Christian ("Why am I here", "My Purpose"). A must have CD for when you feel like praising and even when you don't.
Contagious Praise
What a a refreshing, uplifting abulm by Jimmy Fisher & Contagious Praise. I really love all of the songs. My personal favorites are "I'm not Ashamed", "Every Breathe", "Come On Everybody". I highly recommend catching the contagious praise of this album -- turn it up and Praise His Holy Name!
