One Hit Wonders
Ok, here's the deal: The Skinny Boys guys were kinda a joke/novelty act that came out after The Fat Boys blew up. (The Fat Boys had some incredible hits, btw). But nobody could deny that the single "Jock Box" had some appeal! It was very much a bassment, low-budget production, but the winding keyboard and authentic beat-boxing make for a very unique and catchy music bed. Grab "Jock Box," but avoid the rest...
Blast from the past
Man I was just a kid maybe about 11 when the skinny boys came out. Back in the Chi we used to bump them from our radios (box). Man, them, L.L. Just-Ice, Schoolly D, Steady B, Ice-T, BDP, it just goes on and on. Them was the days. Man I wish I was a kid again
Classic.
The Skinny Boys are those dudes. Rip the Cut is greatness, and so are the rest of the songs.
