Pure hellbilly delight!
This is the real hellbilly deal. This man lays it on the line. It's raw, real and rebellious.
A Must Own
This CD is simply an amazing musical force must be listened to, and there is not one bad song on the whole CD. But if you most pick one I would say pick two Devil Is On His Way and Evil Mother From TN
I've Joe Bucked Myself ...
Joe Buck is awesome ... I initially saw him perform with Hank III, and thought, my god, that's one menacing looking brother. Strange being stared down by a guy in a mohawk thrashing away on a stand up base? But he plays that base like a mad man. When I discovered he had released some stuff on his own, had to hear it. Hearing it, loved it. It's deeply Southern in a way you have to be form the south to understand. It's scary, good, and unique. Joe Buck's range is surprising - contrast Dig a Hole (I ain't forgettin' either, brother!) with Bitter is the Day. Joe Buck is now on my "I'll buy anything you relaease list". It's a short list. Joe Buck: Get to Charlotte, brother!
