A&M's 1996 collection Greatest Hits contains many of the basics in Joe Jackson's catalog, including "Is She Really Going Out with Him?," "Look Sharp!," "Sunday Papers," "I'm the Man," "You Can't Get What You Want (Til You Know What You Want)," "Breaking Us in Two," "Steppin' Out," and "Nineteen Forever."

by lil nordyWow! I bought the album for a few popular songs ("Steppin Out" and "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"). Once I played it, I realized that he had a bunch of great hits that I already knew. "You Can't Get What You Want" and "Sunday Papers" take me back to old AOR (album oriented rock) stations that used to play in the seventies and eighties. However, this collection is still fresh today. Besides, how can you resist a line like, "pretty women out walking with gorillas down my street"?

I was always a fan of Joe's big hits like "Breaking Us In Two", "Steppin' Out" etc. but until I bought this album I didn't realize how gifted the man really is. Some of these songs, like "Be My Number Two", "It's Different for Girls", have become my new favorites.
