Beautiful

With four of his greatest songs Coltrane does not disappoint. His sound commotes towards so many emotions, straight ahead with undiminishing power and beauty. You may never again hear such genuine virtuosity, don't miss the Trane.

$3.99 and it's worth every penny

This album is a great deal as these are four of Coltrane's greatest songs (even if Impressions is a bit avante garde for me) and it's a true pleasure to hear live versions. Presumably you should have the My Favorite Thing and Blue Train albums (really, if you don't, go get them), but now that you do why not hear long live versions for just four dollars. I'm thrilled to have bought this on iTunes.

Excellent Album!!!

This album is a steal of a deal! I also own the version from the same tour with Eric Dolphy "live in Copenhagen" and I have to say this one is better.
The Stockholm version of " My Favourite Things" is the best version I've heard of this tune. I also like Naima because it has a slighly faster tempo than other versions.

It seems amazing that his period of greatest activity was so short, not only because he recorded prolifically, but also because, taking advantage of his fame, the record companies that recorded him as a sideman in the 1950s frequently reissued...
