live at Birdland Feb 9, 1962

It's great to hear Dolphy and Coltrane together. "My Favorite Things" takes awhile to warm up and never really reaches the heights that it would in '63. But the other 2 songs are stellar. and it's only 4 dollars!

yes

this is really worth the $4 because it contains alot of good material. I think it is a spritual expreince listening to this albumn. A Yes to anybody liking the wild side and the mystic part of Coltrane.

Worth every penny of the 4 bucks...and then some.

The recording quality of this album is not the best, it does sound very much like a bootleg, and not much information is otherwise provided. However, audio quality aside, the power and depth in the exploration of John Coltrane and Eric Dolphy together and individually becomes strongly evident.
