Johnny Rodriguez The Hits
Always been a fan of country and western but only recently started collecting a few songs from established singers and came across Johnny Rodriquez today and I liked him right away. He has a real nice voice and his music fits his voice. He sings what he feels and feels what he sings. All the best Johnny The Henderson Jazz and Blues Master
Johnny Rodriguez Review
Country fans cannot go wrong with any Johnny Rodriguez album. I have been a fan since seeing him tour with Tom T. Hall in a concert in Virginia when I was very young. I guees I would have to consider myself very lucky since I was able to preserve his first four albums and now have them loaded into my iPod. Johnny sings a ballad better than the best of the artists. When he mixes the lyrics with spanish, it really catches your attention.
Can't Beat The Country Greats
This album is worth buying for just one song: "That's the Way Love Goes" -- a beautiful ballad. I remember the first time I heard this song. I was walking a true lady, a beautiful woman, to a sawdust covered dance floor. Those were different times: men were men and ladies were glad for that. There are a couple of other memorable hits (#1's on the Country Charts): "I Just Can't Get Her Out of My Mind" and "Ridin' My Thumb to Mexico". Great music. This guy has a strong but mellow voice. I pray that he will find his way out of his present difficulties in Oklahoma. I would bet that the police version of events are, let us say, less than accurate.
