Amazing
This album puts together the Latin Jazz greats of Justo Almario, Danilo Lozano, Poncho Sanchez, Oscar Hernandez just to name a few, into a action packed music album! I highly recommend this album, guarantee it will have you in a groove. Hopefully this band has many more of these albums in the future.
Awesome music!
Mongorama is a GREAT, and super talented band that plays awesome, lively music that makes you want to dance and move as soon as you listen to it. I've seen them live, and have witnessed the passion and soul that every individual carries with them on stage. This album is so enjoyable and really captures the true meaning of Latin Jazz!
Beautiful Rhythm & Melodies!
Any production that L.A. Radio Personality Jose Rizo places his stamp on is 1st rate with top notch musicians and Mongorama is no exception. This new 9 piece Latin Jazz ensemble is paying tribute to the great Mongo Santamaria by performing some his Charanga/Jazz classics and playing original material with the same care and tradition played in the 60's. This release will remain in my player for a long time. It does not get any better than this. Gracias Jose and your crew for this wonderful recording.
