My favorite hip hop album of '08!
Wow! This is a GREAT album. From front to back it is full of incredible beats, well crafted lyrics and velvet smooth flows. This is life music. If anyone has any question about what the definition of hip hop is, all they need to do is listen to this alum. Quest is the truth. There are issues to be addressed and personal statements to be made on this album and Quest has the the perfect voice to do all of those things. I could listen to him recite nursery rhymes and it would probably be dope, but hearing him flow on these tracks, rocking the ill content that he does is a blessing. Highlights include Why I Write, Just a Man, and Our Dreams which are all personal manifestos about Quest's love for hip hop. Mistaken is one of the illest storytelling records I've ever heard, right down to the shcoking end. Take Care of Business and Rock to the Rhythm can heat up the club or your backyard bar-b-q. Three Sided, All About Me and Walk With the Beat not only bring te heat lyrically but they feature some of the best guest spots you'll ever hear on a track. BUY THIS RIGHT NOW or you are missing out on a truly classic album.
Some real dope hip hop
I've been banging this album in my cd player for a minute now. Real good concious hip hop start to finish.

To any real hip hop heads out there, I have got to say that this is probably one of the best releases for 2008, hands down. This album offers 16 tracks of pure and unadulterated hip hop. Any one who buys this album will be a very satisfied listener. Quest offers an entire package with Journey Towards the Sun. I am very proud to have helped out with this great project. Peace!
