Best known as a two time champion on the popular ABC televised reality contest Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough has also won the renowned International Latin Youth Champion and Junior Blackpool World Latin Champion awards, and helped choreograph a video for Gwen Stefani. The catchy single from her first foray into country music, "Will You Dance With Me, " is oddly absent from this self-titled album, but "That Song In My Head" is another chartbuster that opens things with a bouncing, rootsy, rhythm section and sunny melodies that frolic around bubbly, optimistic lyrics. "Jimmy Ray McGee" is a standout ballad and the sassy "Hello" injects some attitude into another hit worthy number. If you like heartbreaking country songs, you won't find them here. Hough's debut is brimming over with feel good country pop, but considering that not too many attractive, ambitious, successful 19-year olds have had their hearts crushed, it's actually much more believable this way.

EXCELLENT DEBUT, SWEETNESS TRANSLATED INTO MUSIC
With her debut, Julianne proves that she is deserving of a career in country music. She is not just a dancer, nor simply a beauty. She has a cute country twang, and her voice is strong, sweet and appropriate for this genre. Of course, Brad Paisley would not have just anyone join him on tour. Stand out songs are "That song in my head", Hide your Matches",and "I'd just be with you". Even if country music isn't typically your thing, there are several songs that can easily translate into pop radio. Nice going for a debut from a nice girl. Buy this!
I have been waiting!!!
I really like this girl and i think that she has talent beyond what we know and this album is purely genius i really like her first single and her new one My Hallelujah song, that one was written very well and i hope that she sells many records!!!
A New Star is Born!
In My humble opinion I belive that Julianne Hough is going to be the next big thing in country music she has great lyrics and blazing hook's She also has a beautiful voice to go along with her great look's she is by far the real deal and the total package.
