Still the King of the Jungle Gym
I didn't think it possible, but Justin Roberts keeps getting better. This album combines dangerously catchy tunes with funny, smart lyrics that both kids and their parents will love. "We Go Duck" will be an immediate hit. "Sign My Cast" is a sweet take on a common childhood event. "Never Get Lost" made this full-grown mom cry. Fun "Obsessed By Trucks" explains the soundtrack in a little brother's head. Brilliant. A current favorite lyric (among lots of great lines) is in "Snow Day" when Roberts tells of waiting to hear his school district's name on the radio and demands, "C'mon! C'mon, just make the call!"
My tween daughters argue about which song to hear first (and then repeat), but "Jungle Gym" could play just as well in a preschool classroom.
The band ably supports the music and significantly adds to the fun. The excellent production quality of the album ensures that the lyrics are front and center and are easy to sing along with. And I dare you not to sing along. Love it.
Great kid rock
Justin captures so many of the little moments of childhood. The whole family loves his music!
We Love Justin Roberts!
At my house, we are huge fans of Justin Roberts...so it can be pretty tough to live up to our high expectations....but with Jungle Gym, as with every other CD of his, Justin Roberts didn't let us down! The tunes are catchy, cool, and meaningful for kids and adults. Say good bye to the annoying kids music that is out there....You will enjoy this CD, and all of his others, even more than your kids do!! Thank you Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players for great kids music....that I often listen to when I am alone in my car because I like it so much!
