Different yet the same
My friend turned me onto the Kooks not too long ago and I fell in love. I've fallen in love all over again. They have grown as musicians

They are back & amazing like always! So much respect to this band. Amazing song.
A Pleasant Resurfacing
I have long awaited the return of The Kooks to the music industry, and this is a nice early single. That being said, I hope their follow-up singles and/or album will be a little bit better (and possibly more fun). I definitely think this is a light, catchy tune, but I know The Kooks have more in them, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.

Luke Pritchard (vocals/guitar), Hugh Harris (guitar), Max Rafferty (bass), and Paul Garred (drums) generate the rubbishy garage rock sounds of the Kooks. Named after the song on David Bowie's Hunky Dory, the Kooks met while attending Brighton Music College in the mid-2000s. Each shared a liking for the Police, the Strokes, the Everly Brothers, and Funkadelic, and the bandmates began funneling such influences into their own sweet and precocious sound in 2005.
