TOTALLY MELODIC

I have to say that this is my number one album. It sends to into a trance-like state~pulling me into a peaceful serenity where no worries exist. I've listened you all (on the streets of Chicago to the stages of Europe) from my "growing up" years unitl now and I commend you on your music. I feel that Mama Aquilla added a certain.... a certain "hhhmpphh" to the CD.

Head-noddin' music

I've been lucky enough to see these guys about 4 or 5 times in various places around New York, such as Union Square, Central Park, and random subway stations. They rock - hard. It's like 9 dudes sweatin and wearing wife-beaters, givin it all they've got. I hope they make it big. I know the last time I saw them and bought a CD from them they announced they were playing a gig at The Blue Note. Anyway, they've got one more album out that's not on iTunes called "Flipside", or just the Orange One it's sometimes referred to. It's also extremely good.

OMG!!! You Have To Hear & Feel them LIVE

This band of brothers and cousins are incredible. I saw them in June at Union Square in front of Whole Foods. They drew a huge crowd that blocked off the whole sidewalk, cars were stopping. The sound of the bass of the trumbone and the melodic flow of the trumpets was hypnotizing. The music was so relaxing. They were selling cd's like hotcakes. I bought one for $15 and it's worth more. We have to support musicians, real music lives on thru the musicians who we pass in the streets and subway. Synthesizers and drum machines will never trump the energy and sound of a live band.
