New and Cool
Very unique and cool sound. Kickin' it with the global vibe. Nice percussion fx on Djembe Electrica. Great variety. Just A Secret may be my favorite. Where's the original LP???
World Electronica
This is totally different than Rossi's other music. He keeps the "world" sound, but gets more heavily into electronic dance mix textures. The remixes very nicely done. My favorite is Djembe Electrica and The Me I Leave Behind-great Middle Eastern hooks.
Great diversity of grooves.
This is quite the departure for Rossi and really excellent. Having enjoyed his other records, I must say he outdoes himself with every endeavor. Just A Secret - not only an excellent dance track, but a really great song. Can't wait to hear the original. The Me I Leave Behind - a great blend of modern production and Mid-Eastern percussion and vocals. Mixed Up Thing - a great trance track with spoken phrases by Billie Holiday thru cool effects. Djembe Electrica - If you're into African drums, the title says it all... with excellent George Harrison-like electric guitar riff... think quirky solo on Taxman. Each is completely different. All these tracks are superb.
