Just Because
If you love soul/ neo-soul/ vocals/ hip-hop...you will love this album and check out her 1st album if you slept on that too. A Poem about Ms. Doss
Surprised iTunes put this album on!
I found this album on Amazon a while back, and had no idea who this woman was but thought she was great! Later I saw that she wasn't on iTunes and I recommended her album. I just want to say that this album is great and hope that they will put the first album "A Poem About Ms. Doss" on here too it's also a really good CD she reminds me of Lauryn Hill mixed with a little Hil St. Soul.

Beloved neo-soul singer Conya Doss built her dedicated if small following the hard way, with independently released albums and lots of touring. A native of Cleveland, OH, Doss cites influences including Stevie Wonder, Angela Winbush, Donny Hathaway, and Minnie Riperton. She began singing as early as age five and went on to attend the Cleveland School of the Performing Arts. She got her start in the music industry alongside childhood friend Stacy Richardson, with whom she formed the singing duo Lyrik....
