Wonderful Album!!
This is a WONDERFUL album all the way through! If you haven't purchased this album yet, you NEED too! I know this man personally and he's just as amazing a person as he is a musician. I'm so proud to call him a friend. Great job Mr. Cross! :)
An Album Tantamount to Hope!!
Just Reach is an album that allows me to just sit back after a long day and just unwind. I really like the compositional style of the artist who is also the vocalist with his smooth silky tones and warm color that commands a meditative outlook on things while listening.
Coated just on top of all of this is a message of hope and perseverance connected to trust, wooing the listener to "Just Reach" in the areas of their lives where they have simply grown weary and tired of going for accomplishments that seem to always slip through the cracks.
With poetic words this album is tantamount to hope which is enough to purchase this album, encourage others to buy as well, and buy for others who may be struggling with seeing the potential in themselves.
Here on a late Saturday night, I am listening to "One Way" as I prepare for bed. It ensures an inspiring end to the day and a strong catapult into Sunday mornings church service. With it's brisk tempo, it allows me to groove out with a thought process of growth and strength as I reflect on the timeline of my life and how God has allowed me to come this far and how He will fulfill the tomorrows in my life.
Thank you Joel Cross for yielding to that which was inside of you and working hard to share it with the rest of us who may not always understand the mental process and the road blocks you went through to make this album be born. It is with my review that others see the gift in you and your music, take a 30 second snap shot of each song, and give a gift to themselves for only a little under ten bucks. I know for sure that this album will eventually be a part of your itunes essentials as you continue to share your gift with those of us who were born to be enlightened by your clear and gifted art form!
