Maybe not a Dylan but....
This is concept: bravery's most poignant and well produced album yet. These songs are some of the most lyrically and musically heartfelt and polished of his massive archive of amazing music. "I Could Never Be a Dylan" and "This Town" reference old school folkies that influence Jared still today, but also showcase his aptitude and concern for world events. Crowd favorites like "Hate the Way" and the ever popular "Sixes and Sevens" (with new backing vocals) punctuate the album with sincere love and heartbreak without being whiny or cliche. Concept: bravery has the goods to be the next big thing, and still keep the integrity and beauty we 'old timers' originally loved.
Music to play with your emotions....
Most people would say that this is just another album full of whiny acoustic songs. Your right! But thats not a bad thing. Believe it or not there are alot of people out there who enjoy listening to songs about hard times and relationships, me being one of them. Upon first listen it didn't really get me. So far I have listened to the album 5 or 6 times and the more familiar each song becomes the better is gets! My current favorite track is "Sixes and Sevens". I got this thing for chicks on backup vocals, sooo good. Buy the whole album, cause one song just doesn't do any artist justice. !!!
A Review
An artist that you can really tell feels through every song he performs and writes. Thought provoking and deep. A fresh new vision for a cookie cutter world.
