Album Review
If you like your extreme metal fast and furious — and oh-so-precise — then Man Must Die (how's that for a straight-to-the-point band name?) is the group for you. And on their 2009 release, No Tolerance for Imperfection, blastbeats, grizzly bear growling, galloping rhythms, and rapid riffing are all on display. The songs may blur into each other, but it's hard not to be impressed with the full-on, seemingly non-stop assault that Man Must Die lay on the listener this time around, especially on such dainty little ditties as the album-opening title track, as well as "Gainsayer," "Hide the Knives," "How the Mighty Have Fallen," and probably the best songtitle of the entire disc, "Kill It Skin It Wear It." Looking for some airtight extreme metal? No Tolerance for Imperfection shall certainly satisfy.

Kill It on Relapse
I really liked this album, makes me want to buy their first album. Relapse signed a great band with Man Must Die. BUY IT or they'll come over from Scotland, skin you and wear your your face like a Halloween mask.
six stars
Well hello momma. Just when you thought Hate Eternal was the most ferocious beast on the planet along come these lads from Glasgow. At points during this record you just can't help from smiling as you get that warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of your stomach and tears in your eyes. While this is an incredibly tight and talented band, the drumming is simply spectacular, in all senses of the word (Derek Roddy, wherever you are nowadays, take note). The death metal big boys need to kick it up a notch with young bands like this around, but I don't think they're going to be able to keep up. Viva la revolucion!
This will pump you up.
If you liked their earlier record "the Human Condition," you will mess yourself over this record. Get it immediately. The record starts off with a ferocious gravity blast on the track and really doesn't let up until the instrumental "What I Can't Take Back." What you, the listener, are treated to are stellar, brutal modern Death Metal SONGS, with a great deal of interesting/catchy twists and turns along the way. What I realy like about this band is, aside from the musicians being very technically proficient, nothing seems overdone, ever. Yes there are a few guitar solos, lots of blast beats and double-bass runs, and some breakdowns...lots of bands try this sort of stuff, but few seem to piece everything together perfectly as it is on NTFI. The riffage is phenomenal, the bass has a great tone underneath the mayhem and the vocals remain intelligible and in your face. This record is HIGHLY recommended for fans of well played, well-produced metal. Fantastic...I will also say that the song "Gainsayer" is a direct descendant of Carcass' "Heartwork."
