Brilliant! Just Brilliant!

Just about everyone knows that for any game, music can make or break the experience. The highs have to hit at the climax, the lows have to underscore the tension and the tempo has to match every blast of gunfire. Needless to say that the Killzone 3 soundtrack pulls all of this off perfectly. It's symphonic composition with a choir of voices in the background adds to the games epic sense of scale and makes every battle a blast and every track equally as amazing when played by itself.

The Killzone 3 soundtrack should simply not be missed if you are a fan of videogame music

Get this and the KZ2 soundtrack

The in-game music did seem to borrow a few tracks from Killzone 2 unless I am mistaken. However, this album is ALL new so you will not be disappointed. And that also means you need both albums. Lots of great tracks here. I think Joris de Man has a great ability to encompass motifs from some of the great movie soundtracks of all time and blend them into an epic score that has its own unique character. If you are a fan of soundtracks in general, not just game music, this is a definite must buy.

Haunting and Epic

I'm an avid soundtrack/score collector and this game score is one of the best. I got the soundtrack for free as part of the collectors edition but I would have purchased it anyway. There are some tracks that echo Empire Strikes back and Phantom Menace. And that's a good thing.
A must have for the hardcore gamer.
