A Gospel child from his parents group “Voices of Faith,” William Scott grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. Enlisting in the U.S. Army where he completed six tours of duty, but his first love has always been music. He worked hard to become a first-class singer/songwriter and bassist. That deep, rich, chocolaty voice is the reason why he’s favored on phone pre-sets with artists like Joss Stone... under ‘K’ for Kooly as that’s what his friends call him! Kooly has created the perfect mix of danceable R&B grooves and tender soul ballads here on his self-titled release. Standouts include the infectious “Put A Wiggle in Your Back,” the intense love song, “Diamond,” and the real highlight is the recently re-done and masterfully re-mixed “Twelve O Five” by the radio-friendly Brian Bromberg. This burning single is destined to be chart bound. If you like your soul to sizzle this one’s white hot and KOOLY. ~Stewart Coxhead
