Dean Jay plays both kinds of music: rock AND roll.

I like all the new stuff! More defined than the first album, still great music!
Enjoyable and sincere
Dean Jay is obviously a fan of 70s funk, juicy soul, and that obscure but awesome quality to the music on mediocre film and TV soundtracks of the era. I find his approach to such material refreshing and nostalgic. This is not someone trying to impress, but someone with a true enthusiasm for good old-fashioned no-frills songmaking. The production and instrumentation may be shaky at times (I heard he played all the instruments), but for me that only adds to the charm. Keep an eye on this guy.
