Great Compilation
This compilation Rocks! Awesome!
So Underground!
Nobody's Ever Heard Of TSOL Or Agent Orange! Finally They're Getting Noticed!
eh
I respectfully disagree with one of the other reviewers here. Agent Orange and T.S.O.L. get plenty of recognition for their position in the history of Los Angeles punk rock (although I consider AO, like Social Distortion and The Adolescents to be from Orange County), as do other seminal bands like Wasted Youth, Bad Religion, FEAR, and Circle Jerks. It's the FIRST WAVE of Los Angeles punk rock that doesn't. And the only example on this compilation is the poorly recorded "Sex Boy" by prodigies The Germs. The Germs, along with Black Flag (THE LA punk band, who strangely isn't on this) were at the fore-front of the first wave of LA punk from '77-'79, before hardcore broke (see The Middle Class "Out of Vogue".) If you want to dwell on that more go check out The Plugz, Screamers, Flesh Eaters, The Weirdos, The Dickies, X, Christian Death, The Bags, Rhino 39, The Zeros, The Gears and in their early years....The Go-Gos
