The Importance of Grammar and Spelling

I found this song way before there were any reviews posted on it. I do not care for Ashlee Simpson. I don't mind if she lip-sings or doesn't, because it has no effect on my life whatsoever. I wanted to wait for other reviewers to come along, because I needed to see the difference between the Ashlee-Praisers and the Ashlee-Bashers. No surprise, but the Ashlee-Praisers fail to support their idol with fairly constructive reviews that are hardly convincing. At least the Ashlee-Bashers are determined enough to convince us to steer away from this "fake." I am a sucker for dance music. Seeing this for the first time (and my friend being a rabid Ashlee Simpson fan), I decided to give it a spin. The beats penetrated my skin, and got me dancing for around twenty seconds, until the thirty-second preview ended. I played it again, and this time, I listened closely to the lyrics. I find it difficult to understand what Ashlee is singing, so I looked up the lyrics. Half of the lyrics are "L,O-L,O-L,O-L O V E... L,O-L,O-L,O-- Oh did you hear me say L,O-L,O-L,O-L O V E... L,O-L,O-L,O." The rest of the song lyrics mean nothing and are extremely clichéd. The beats and tempos are amazing, but the lyrics, which make up the heart of the song, turn it down. I'm sorry, Ashlee, but... no. I am yet another Ashlee-Basher saving the world with grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Wow. I nominate this to be the worst song of 2005. Better yet, the decade. Aw heck, why stop there: WORST SONG EVER. I'm a huge Missy fan so I hope she got paid BIG for this monumental blip of crapola. Ashlee should rethink her career (if you can even call it that) and do the world a favor and stop recording.
