Album Review
Los Tres (the three) are inexplicably a quartet. But that's not all that's unusual about this band. Their Latin pop mixes in blues licks ("Hojas De Te"), rockabilly (the title track) and even a little soul ("Moizefala") for an adventurous, if somewhat over-ambitious mix. While the comparisons to Los Lobos are natural, this band lacks the focus of that seminal outfit. Instead they win the listener over with sheer chutzpah. A unique effort from a band that deserves to realize the crossover dream.

Chilean folk-rock band with an unbreakable sense of humor formed in the late '80s by vocalist and guitarist Alvaro Henríquez, bassist Roberto Lindl, and drummer Francisco Molina who decided to start a rock band. The new project was called Los Tres. Henríquez, Lindl, and Molina met Angel Parra when they moved from Concepción to the capital city Santiago de Chile.
