AMAZING
Unique, Eclectic, and Brilliant! I love your sound!
Be an early adopter
This is a remarkable first album for a new band. The writing, production and performances reflect a measure hard work, attention to detail, and artistry (not to mention intelligence and maturity) that is exceedingly rare for a band this young. There is some buzz about originality... that is a bit overstated, but this is still a very solid first effort. Check out their myspace for a live video of the song 'Chasing Corporate' for a great introduction. Album aside, this may be the most significant new band you haven't heard of. This album is very fine for what it is, but take note, it is going to get better. You never know if a new band is going to stick around or not, but I am hoping for the day when I might say, 'I was an Air Review fan before it was cool!' 5 stars because, for a new band, this recording is a surprisingly complete package... and it's just really good.
Kudos to Air Review
It is so often that we listen to a band and it is so obvious what other bands and music styling they are influenced by, so much so, that it takes away from any originality that the band is trying to accomplish, and it comes off as "stealing" another bands sound. I feel Air Review did an exceptional job creating a truley authentic and original sound with their sound influence merely being a nuance or a polite subtlety as you listen to each track. It is nice to know that there are still musicians around with manners :)
