Not reggae !!
This is not reggae music !! Tired of this crap ! It's sad when bands like this are getting more play then Dennis Brown , Don Carlos and so on. Cmon iTunes
Pretty Sick
Have to say after giving this a listen a few times over, this band is pretty sick - yes, if you're looking for "traditional" reggae, this album isn't for you - but if you want an upbeat, rock-reggae funk !!! - Don't miss out - TRIPPIN ON BABYLON
Misleading genre..
Yeah, sure, as pure reggae goes, this doesn't fit. The issue though is that there may not really be a clearly defined genre that this really fits in.
That doesn't by any means equate to a bad experience listening. Redeye Empire is the kind of fun to listen to I used to experience years ago, before pop music became either sappy or angry, and therefore not as enjoyable for me to listen to. It makes me smile the same way some older Goldfinger or Mighty Mighty Bosstones used to.
If you're looking for just old-school pure reggae, don't look here. If you're looking for genuinely good and fun music, Redeye Empire is worth a listen.
