Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman's lush, romantic score for The Last of the Mohicans adds to the film's epic feel. The Royal Scottish National Orchestra's performances of "Kiss," "Fort Battle," "Cora," and "Pieces of a Story" reaffirm why this album is one of the most popular scores from the '90s.

This is *not* the movie soundtrack
This is NOT the soundtrack to this film, featuring the music as it appears in the film. Instead, this is a performance of the film score. It is a good performance - but fans of the film who know it very well will be disappointed when they do not hear the strains of the film's themes as they appear in the film, if they buy this album. If you're looking for a good, solid performance of the film's music, buy this album. If you're looking for the *soundtrack album* (including the song by Clannad), go to Amazon or any other online retailer.
last of the mohicans soundtrack
i was a little disappointed with this album. i had purchased the tape when the movie came out and today, that cassette finally went ka-put...so i purchased the album off of itunes...the album that i purchased is nothing like the tape. the order is different, some of the music sounds different, and the very last song on the tape, isn't even on the album i purchased! so if you're a die-hard fan like me, go to the store and purchase it from there...otherwise, you might be a little disappointed as i am.
If you're looking for the Clannad song...
The album here doesn't include all songs, so if you're looking for the song (in which Hawkeye is trying to find Cora) called "I Will Find You", you can locate it here on iTunes under Clannad. What a bummer that you have to buy the whole album just to hear some good scores...
