A great ride that I want to go on again and again.

So, I popped this in my car one day and thought the instruments were great, cool bass, amazing guitar, awesome drummin.. then continued to listen to other music... but then I started to want to hear this again.. and again.. Now I listen to it quite often and it continues to grow. The sounds morph from metal to progressive metal to a nice melodic fresh and chill atmosphere, then back again... If you are looking for some sounds that will stimulate well in your brain - I'd recommend checking this one out. (all instrumental b.t.w.)

Amazing Range

The songs on this album take you on a journey...every time I listen, I am seduced by the range of sounds. Without lyrics, these songs speak to me in a way a song with words could never do. This is by far Alex Masi's best work. I really like the track called You Asked, an erie, plaintiff sound. Masi, a Grammy nominated guitar virtuoso from Venice, Italy, has collaborated with some great musicians, including Alan Holdsworth. His work with Randy Coven and John Macaluso, MCM, is also something you might like. But Masi is best when flying solo. Expect to hear more about him in the near future...

Italian-born Alex Masi began his musical undertakings at the age of eight and was playing in bands by his teens. In 1984 he formed the group Dark Lord in Venice. The group released two EP's before calling it quits. In 1987 he released his first full album, Fire in the Rain, with his new band, Masi. The group's second album, Downtown Dreamers, came out shortly after. By this time Masi had decided to try out his hand and recording as a solo artist. His first album, Attack of the Neon Shark, was released...
