Save the kittens, buy this record
I've been a fan of Miss Pam ever since our Oxford days (how Brideshead Revisited is that?), and she is the real deal. Great departure from earlier stuff (especially in Sharp), nice melodies, great instrumentation, love it. Pam rocks, even though she lives on the West Coast. If you're into piano-based alternative stuff (Tori Amos, Regina Spektor, The Dresden Dolls, Fiona Apple) check this record out.
A step forward
As the artist behind this e.p., I feel like it's a big step forward in my music. If you like more piano-based tunes, check out my work under Well Hidden Secret. This is really my first foray into using new instruments, and I think that it came together well, particularly on Sharp. If you like stories of love and insomnia, this e.p. is for you.
I'm sorry but i'm really not the biggest fan of this album... :(
I'm sure if she wrote another record i might like it more. But this one makes me want to close my ears for eternity....Sorry if your looking at this Pam, but i think with the fantastic voice you (pam) have, you can write better music...
